If the vehicle\u2019s title was solely in the descendant\u2019s name, you need to determine if the estate is being probated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the vehicle is part of a probated estate, you are required to follow these steps to transfer the vehicle title of a deceased individual:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-contact-probate-court-attorney\">Contact Probate Court Attorney<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A vehicle\u2019s title isn\u2019t eligible for transfer until the probate process is completed.
